Dave Portney Discusses 22-Year Age Gap With Girlfriend Cam D'Aloia

Dave Portnoy and girlfriend Camryn D’Aloia have a “great relationship” and are unbothered by what people think about their 22-year age gap.

“The age thing is never — people always say it to me — it’s never been a factor,” Portnoy, 49, told Us Weekly exclusively while promoting his debut memoir, Cancel Me If You Can . “I don’t think about it at all when I’m with her.”

Portnoy compared him and D’Aloia, 27, to other famous couples, name-dropping Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson , who make headlines for their 48-year age difference.

“In terms of age gaps, we’re starting to look more normal compared to a lot of the age gaps out there,” he continued. “I don’t think about it. We’re both happy, and that’s all I really care about.”

Portnoy said that he and D’Aloia have similar interests which helped their relationship flourish.

“We both love horse racing. We both like the same things,” he said. “We go out to dinner early. She’s not looking to party or anything.”

Portnoy confirmed during an April 2025 episode of the “Drop a Pin” podcast that he was dating D’Aloia by referring to a “Cam” as “someone I’m dating.” Barstool fans were quick to put the pieces together.

Portnoy was first linked to D’Aloia in April 2024. They attended a Boston Celtics and Miami Heat basketball game together and were caught on camera. Portnoy explained on the “BFFs” podcast at the time that he had “turned out” courtside seats to keep D’Aloia out of the public eye. However, that backfired.

“We sat down and it’s like: ‘We are f***ed,’” he recalled. “I think I told her, ‘Just don’t panic, just don’t panic,’ because this girl does not want to be — you guys can appreciate that there is a level of notoriety that stinks when you’re well known.”

Portnoy also discussed the possibility of a second marriage with Us . The Barstool Sports founder’s book includes details about his past relationship with estranged wife Renee Portnoy , to whom he’s still legally married.

“I have a girlfriend, she has a boyfriend. If we’re like, ‘Hey, we’re getting married,’ we’d have to [get a divorce], but other than that, it’s never been a priority,” he explained. “We did try it, and it took a lot of time and effort to go through, and then it got denied.”

Right now, it’s “not a priority” for Portnoy to get married again.

“I’m just happy how I am right now, I guess,” he explained. “I’m not opposed, I don’t think. If I ever get married again, I’ll never get divorced again. I know that.”
